3 Points of Pressure - A Preview of the 2009 Razorbacks

3 Points of Pressure

WholeHogSports.com previews the Razorbacks' upcoming football season in a video series called "3 Points of Pressure." View one-on-one interviews with Arkansas players and coaches, and learn the Hogs' mindset and stories entering the second season of the Bobby Petrino Era.

Offense

The Arkansas offense moved the ball through the air last season rather easily, but struggled in the red zone. This season, with Ryan Mallett as the presumed starter at quarterback, there are high hopes and expectations for the Razorbacks.

Defense

The Arkansas defense was the worst in the SEC last season, but returning starters and a new crop in the secondary has defensive coordinator Willy Robinson thinking of a turnaround in 2009.

Special Teams

The hiring of John L. Smith as the Hogs' new special teams coach has brought with it some changes. Most eyes remain on kicker Alex Tejada, who looks to overcome a 2008 season that was his worst yet.
