Murphy makes his first start after throwing well last Tuesday at Nebraska. Murphy held the Cornhuskers scoreless for five innings until allowing two runs in his sixth inning of work. SHORT HOPS The Razorbacks could be without third baseman Logan Forsythe for today’s game. Forsythe left after the third inning Tuesday with a groin injury. Forsythe has been plagued by injuries, including undergoing foot surgery in the off-season. He also missed four games with a pulled hamstring earlier this month. Usual shortstop Tim Smalling replaced Forsythe at third. It was the first work at third that Smalling has had in his Arkansas career.... Arkansas junior Ben Tschepikow continues to be one of the more versatile hitters in the lineup. He batted leadoff Tuesday as usual No. 1 batter Chase Leavitt took the night off. Tschepikow was effective against the Gentlemen, reaching base in his first two plate appearances, scoring twice and driving in a run with a single. Later he drew a four-pitch walk and scored another run. Tschepikow has batted first one other time, second twice, sixth once, seventh seven times and ninth four times.
