Hogs await word on Henry’s status Published: Thursday, April 17, 2008 PRINT E-MAIL The Arkansas’ men’s basketball team didn’t sign any recruits Wednesday, the first day of the spring signing period that runs until May 21. The Razorbacks are awaiting word on Cincinnati prep standout Jason Henry’s transcript. Once that’s cleared up, Henry is expected to sign a national letter of intent with the Hogs. He made an official visit to Fayetteville over the weekend. Henry, 6-7, 195, signed with Cincinnati out of West Memphis but enrolled at Cincinnati Harmony Community after not qualifying academically. He averaged about 22 points, 6. 5 rebounds and 2 steals a game this season at Harmony. Shooting guard Nick Williams 6-5, 205, of Mobile (Ala. ) Leflore is scheduled to take an official visit to Arkansas this weekend. He is generally regarded as one of the top shooting guards in the nation. Williams signed with Marquette in November but was granted a release from his scholarship after Indiana hired Coach Tom Crean.
