WHEN 6: 35 Central tonight WHERE Baum Stadium, Fayetteville RADIO Arkansas Razorback Radio Network, which includes KFAY-AM, 1030, in Fayetteville; KURM-AM, 790, in Rogers / Springdale; KWBF-FM, 101. 1, in Little Rock; KHGG-FM, 103. 1, in Fort Smith and KOMT-FM, 107. 5, in Mountain Home. PITCHING MATCHUP South Carolina: Will Atwood (LHP, 5-2, 4. 33 ERA ). Arkansas: Justin Wells (RHP, 3-1, 5. 52 ERA ). Atwood has won five of his eight SEC starts, and he’s coming off his first career complete game in a victory over Florida last weekend. Wells pitched into the eighth inning last week while suffering his first loss, 11-6 to Alabama. He struck out 10 but allowed 12 hits and 8 runs. SHORT HOPS Arkansas first baseman Andy Wilkins could return to the lineup this weekend after missing several games with a pulled muscle in his upper body. “I’ve got him in the hitting group and so far, so good,” Coach Dave Van Horn said. “It can all change with one swing, but we’ll see how it goes in batting practice. If he’s OK, we’ll try to get him in the game sometime this weekend.”... Casey Coon’s average is up to. 301 after he went 9 for 14 with 4 RBI last week against Missouri State and Alabama.... Mike Bolsinger could get the start for Arkansas on Sunday if he’s not used much in relief in the first two games of the series. Bolsinger pitched well while throwing 7 1 / 3 innings in relief in two games against Alabama.... Arkansas will play Mississippi Valley State at 12: 05 p.m. Monday at Baum Stadium. The teams were scheduled to play April 2, but the game was rained out.... Arkansas and South Carolina did not meet in the regular season last year, but the Razorbacks beat the Gamecocks twice (6-0 and 3-2 ) in the SEC Tournament at Hoover, Ala. Arkansas leads the overall series 24-18.... South Carolina is coming off a 10-5 victory over Wofford on Wednesday, when all nine Gamecocks starters had at least one hit.

THE WEEK AHEAD TODAY vs. South Carolina, 6: 35 p.m. SATURDAY vs. South Carolina, 2: 05 p.m. SUNDAY vs. South Carolina, 12: 05 p.m. MONDAY vs. Miss. Valley State, 12: 05 p.m. TUESDAY off WEDNESDAY off THURSDAY at Mississippi State, 6: 30 p.m.
