Offensive tackle says yes to Razorbacks Published: Tuesday, August 05, 2008 PRINT E-MAIL Offensive tackle Travis Swanson of Kingwood, Texas, has orally committed to the Arkansas Razorbacks. “We as a family are ecstatic and are so appreciative that Travis is going to Arkansas,” Sawnson’s father, Todd Swanson, said Monday. “Travis was blown away with what Arkansas had to offer.” Travis Swanson, 6-6, 282, 5. 2 seconds in the 40-yard dash, also had scholarship offers from Arizona, Kansas, Houston, Texas Tech and Army. He attended Arkansas’ camp July 19 and shortly afterward was offered a scholarship. Sawnson is the ninth oral commitment for the 2009 recruiting class. Oral commitments are nonbinding.
