MURFREESBORO, Tenn. — Tyler Smith scored 18 points and grabbed 10 rebounds and No. 14 Tennessee beat Middle Tennessee 74-64 on Friday night.

Bobby Maze added 12 points and J. P. Prince and Scotty Hopson had 10 each for the Vols (3-0 ).

Demetrius Green scored 17 points and Nigel Johnson added 13 and Kevin Kanaskie had 11 for the Raiders (2-1 ). GEORGIA 55, PRESBYTERIAN 47 ATHENS, Ga. — Zac Swansey scored 12 points and Terrance Woodbury scored 10 as Georgia (3-1 ) beat Presbyterian (0-3 ). Bryan Bostic had 22 points for Presbyterian.
