FAYETTEVILLE — Arkansas coach John Pelphrey says Sonny Weems is "indefinitely suspended" until the player brings his grades up.
Pelphrey told the Arkansas Razorback Sports Network pre-game show that the senior from West Memphis was benched for Saturday's game versus Oral Roberts.
Weems is averaging 10.5 points a game for the Razorbacks this season. He made two critical free throws with 15 seconds left to help lift Arkansas to a 94-91 win Wednesday night over Missouri.
