FAYETTEVILLE Arkansas coach Bobby Petrino revealed Saturday that his quarterbacks are eyeing the record at Arkansas that was set 30 years ago by Kevin Scanlon.
Before that happens, though, Ryan Mallett and Tyler Wilson will have to battle it out on the practice field to see who gets the starting nod come Sept. 5 against Missouri State. Mallett is expected to be the starter throughout the season, but Wilson could prove tough and push for some playing time.
To hear more from Petrino and Arkansas players on the battle, view the video from media day.
