FAYETTEVILLE Arkansas’ freshman class had some pretty good moments in Thursday night’s 102-69 exhibition victory over LeMoyne-Owen before an estimated 3,233 fans in Walton Arena.
Forward Marshawn Powell started and had 18 points and 9 rebounds; point guard Julysses Noble had 8 assists and 2 turnovers; forward Glenn Bryant had 10 points, 6 rebounds, 2 steals and 4 blocked shots;and guard Brandon Mitchell had 8 points, 1 steal and 1 rebounds in 8 minutes.
“We’re all coming in knowing we have to play, so we’ve just embraced that,” Bryant said. “We’re ready to take it all in.”
