Hogs say game ‘biggest’ of year

Arkansas’ postseason fate might well be riding on the outcome of today’s game against South Carolina.

The Razorbacks (4-4, 1-4 SEC) are determined to reach a bowl game in the second year under Bobby Petrino, and a victory in today’s 11:21 a.m. game at Reynolds Razorback Stadium against the bowl-eligible Gamecocks (6-3, 3-3) could be the impetus for a late-season push.

Petrino even used the “must-win” designation at his Monday news conference.

“This is a big game for our program,” Petrino said. “We need to go out and win the game on Saturday, much like the [Texas] A&M, Auburn games. It’s a game that’s a must-win for us.”
