FAYETTEVILLE Arkansas could not fight its way into contention in the SEC West in 2009, but the Razorbacks’ offense clearly has made strides in Coach Bobby Petrino’s second season.
Led by quarterback Ryan Mallett, Arkansas has scored a combined 96 points in its past two games to edge ahead of No. 1-ranked Florida and Auburn for the SEC scoring lead. The Razorbacks average 35.6 points per game, an increase of 62 percent from last year’s scoring average of 21.9.

This is a young team both offensively and defensively. Oh my the next 2 seasons not excluding the rest of this season is looking brighter than it has for a very long time. Go Hogs!
