I don't know about anyone else, but this statement bothers me some.

"Slive may supply some details on the deal he made with CBS and ESPN that guarantees each of the SEC’s 12 schools $17 million per year for the next 10 years.

That deal made the SEC the most lucrative conference in America by far."

Has the SEC become a conference where how much money is made by the conference is more important than the integrity of the game and education of the players? I believe the SEC will go downhill over the upcoming years due to the emphasis being placed on revenues over officiating and education.

As long as the best players in America keep coming to the SEC to play football, (or stay home to play football) the SEC will continue to dominate. The best chance a player has to get to the NFL is through the SEC. They will also be on ESPN every Saturday. That's what ALL of these kids want. The SEC has the best coaches, players, stadiums, weightrooms, and other facilities. They will be on top for a while.
