Knock on Wood: Hogs can’t afford another sluggish performance

Whoever made or agreed to the open date coming on the heels of week one needs to find something else to do. That is an absolutely horrible place for a bye or open week.
In addition to having to play 11 games thereafter without a break, teams typically improve the most between the first and second game - assuming there to be a second game in the second week.
Hopefully, such a scheduling flaw will not happen again.
