UA hires new associate AD

Brian Pracht is joining the University of Arkansas Athletic Department staff as associate athletic director for marketing, Athletic Director Jeff Long announced Wednesday.

Pracht, a native of Emporia, Kan., who has 15 years of college marketing and promotions experience, has worked at Wichita State, Long Beach State and the Southland Conference. His responsibilities at Arkansas will include overseeing marketing, promotions, ticket sales and licensing in addition to serving as the staff liaison with International Sports Properties and Razorback Sports Properties.

Pracht joins the UA staff after spending seven years at Wichita State, where he was the senior associate athletics director for external operations.

New board members for Red Wolf Club

The Arkansas State Red Wolf Club held its annual meeting Tuesday evening at the ASU football facility and three new board members were announced.

New board members elected were Ken Kennemore of Osceola, Gene Vance of Jonesboro and Dr. Frank Love of Newport. Board members completing their terms were Lisa Golden of Osceola, Tom Akers of Higdon, Hugh Sales of Jonesboro and Bill Keedy of Newport.

The Red Wolf Club is the primary development arm of Arkansas State athletics.
