The author astounds me in his depiction of Arkansas having "to navigate one of the toughest schedules in the land." Huh? Who's he kidding? Outside of Alabama, there's no Florida and no Tennessee (although Derek Dooley has his hands full there trying to put the pieces back together). Outside of Texas A&M, our non-conference schedule is a joke while teams like Alabama play Penn State early.

Sure, Georgia and LSU are going to be a serious test. But, Ole Miss is succumbing to the Houston Nutt doldrums and if you ask me, Auburn is WAY OVERRATED. We kicked their butt last year even with a sponge of a defense as our detriment. I don't see Miss St. scaring anybody. Vanderbilt, well I don't even have to go there. Some would say South Carolina looks to be on the upswing. If you watched any of the game tonight against a pushover Southern Miss, you'd have thought ESPN expects them to contend for a national title.

I'm not saying the SEC is EVER a cakewalk with any schedule in the conference. But, I think the schedule is generous for Arkansas to carve out a dominant season if it brings its "A" game every Saturday.
