A great decision by Lee to hire Freeze. Too bad Freeze will have to deal with the challenge of the SEC West. I can't see him being able to recruit enough quality players to deal with the likes of Alabama, Arkansas, Auburn, LSU or even Mississippi State or Texas A & M. He may well wish he had stayed in Jonesboro! I do, however wish him the best!!

Dang Wally, you actually wrote a good article. Can't blame Freeze for taking a job that increases his pay 8-12 times what he was making, I doubt if there are any of us that would turn that down. But I wouldn't be surprised if Freeze gets fired at Ole Miss within 3-4 years. I think he is in WAY OVER his head in SEC West. Time will tell. Freeze definately benefited from recruiting Roberts had done and it being a big DOWN year in sunbelt conference, which isn't very good even in UP years. He will not have those advantages at Ole Miss.
