D---it, we need big fast strong LB's, DT's, and CB's (defensive players). We have enough WR's already!!! Jeez!

we brought in a lot of DTs in last years class and return D.D. Jones, Byran Jones, and Robert Thomas. We are fine at that position. We already have a couple of CBs in this class and working on a really good JUCO defensive back, not ot mention Tevin Mitchell played well for a true freshman, and Kelvin Fisher will be playing DB next season. We still have Seth Jacobs (OLB/S) on the board. Unfortunately, most of the LBs arkansas targeted this year are committed to other programs. However, we do have depth at the position already, even with Nelson and Franklin graduating. Highsmith will be even better next season; Rassner got a ton of playing time this year and play well; we also have Robert Atiga among other who played very little or not at all; and there are still a few others. Besides, Robert Gregory just decommitted, so we now have six spots available.

Yes, we return most of the D Line starters, but they didn't exactly dominate anybody in the SEC. Besides, you never ever have too many big, fast, mean D tackles.

Not encouraging, at least to me. If I recall LSU ran behind their left guard and tackle all game (right at RThomas and DDJones) and we couldn't stop them. And our depth at those positions is a fairly steep drop off at 2nd, 3rd string. While we are 2-3 deep at almost every position at WR. I cannot get away from the fact that a stout defense and a good running game wins championships - in the SEC and Nat'l. A passing game may be exciting and put up lots of yards/points (oh yeah except against good defenses like 'Bama and LSU) but a passing game doesn't win championships. Just my opinion but if we don't put more or equal emphasis on defense we won't win a championship in the SEC.

Let CBP do his job! He has gotten us this far; I think that regardless of who he recruits, we will be in great shape. Just think what both of these new coordinators will do for us. Maybe next year, Tyler or Knile wins the heisman?

I sure would like to hear that Pennel is a solid commit...that is all we need to go with the DL we have IMO.

All I heard last few weeks was that Willy Robinson wasn't a good coordinator. Now all I hear is we don't have the right players. Make up your mind.
Agingalum, Pennel decommitted when Blake Jackson committed to Oklahoma State.

Wow....I guess for some nothing will make them happy. I fully believe we will be a better team next year, with or without Pennel. These young men showed a hell of a lot of heart this year and had a good season. I think the offense has to accept as much responsibility as the defense for the two losses as they didn't exactly light up the scoreboard. We will continue to get better and that can be attributed to CBP....like it or not.

We have the talent, and a new defensive scheme will make a world of difference.

10-3 last year with a trip to the Sugar Bowl.
10-2 this year with an upcoming trip to the Cotton bowl. Ranked #6 in BCS.
I think Coach Petrino knows what he is doing. If everyone will remember, just because a recruit is listed as a WR doesnt mean they won't wind up as a DB or even LB. Be thankful we have Coach Petrino. And by the way, Haynes seems to be from the tried and true KISS school. Keep It Simple Stupid. I like it.

Stupidity is a disease that usually causes people who are sane to lose their memories. Look back at the Nutt years and be thankful for how far we've come in 4 years. From nothin' to 6th in the nation. After a KS win in the Cotton Bowl we could be a top 5 team. Brain damage is a terrible malady!!!
