I am a Christian, but I played football back in the dark ages (leather helmet, no face mask, hi-top black shoes etc). We were taught that FB was a team sport and you did nothing to bring extra attention to yourself. For this reason I think Tebow should go to the sideline before kneeling.
I was very happy when the new rules on celebrating went into effect.
