FAYETTEVILLE — Arkansas seniors Delvon Johnson and Marcus Britt received SEC honors Tuesday.
Johnson, a 6-9 center who is averaging 3.0 blocked shots per game to rank 13th nationally, was voted to the SEC All-Defensive Team by the conference coaches. He’s had four games with at least seven blocks this season and had a career high eight against Seton Hall.
Prior to this season, there had been only 13 games in school history in which a Razorback had at least seven blocked shots.
Britt, a 6-3 guard, was named to the SEC’s Community Service Team in recognition of his efforts to help at the Juvenile Detention Center and Fayetteville Boys’ and Girls’ Clubs.
