Things sure looked rosy for Auburn early.

Wow! The defense shuts them out after the first quarter and still gets disrespected!? "It was probably more us,” Auburn Coach Gene Chizik said when asked if Arkansas’ defense made any adjustments after the first quarter. “It was an Auburn problem."

We also dropped a couple in the first quarter that stopped drives or it could have been worse than it was, they had one play, Dyers run, that was all. Like the coachs said, it was a great crowd, the recruts there had to be impressed !

Two things. One, I think our receivers dropped about 4-5 passes that hit them in the numbers. Two, normally, I would wish any Arkansas kid well that chose to go out of state for the right reasons but after watching Dyer's homeboy video and watching him before and during the game, I have nothing good to say to him or about him. He comes across as a thug with an attitude. Sadly, he will probably be a millionaire in a few years and I will still be holding down a real job. One final thought. I know it will never happen but I wish our fans would simply remain silent when the opposing team comes onto the field. Players, especially those like Dyer, thrive on being booed and heckled. Can you imagine how it would look and sound for a team to come out to silence? Anyway, it was a great game and a great win and the ride back to Memphis will be a lot shorter this morning. Go Hogs!

I agree with Oink2u2..............it would be awesome to see the crowd not boooo the opposing team, but actually turn their backs to the opposing team with silence. A lot of players do actually thrive on the boooos from a hostile crowd. This would definitely get into the pssyche of the visiting team and cause some problems for them.
