He's officially visiting Boise State this weekend and plans to make a final decision in about two weeks.

On Wednesday, he received a call from new Hog Coach Bret Bielema and came way very impressed.

"I definitely gained a lot more respect for him," Tavarres said. "Just talking to him because after hearing about the move from Wisconsin to Arkansas I just didn't know what to think and also I hadn't met him and after getting the chance to talk to him I'm definitely a lot more comfortable with him as a coach."

He said Bielema caught his attention one comment.

"One thing he did say was he was coming into the SEC to win," Tavarres said. "He wasn't playing games, he's not messing around. He's looking to having fun and winning games."

Tavarres said Bielema is expected to come visit him next week.
