Saturday recruiting tidbits

Arkansas Coach Bret Bielema talked to the Fayetteville three, QB Austin Allen, LB Brooks Ellis and ath. Alex Brinoni Friday night. The three will meet with Bielema on the UA campus 1 today.

Bielema called Forrest City DE Tevin Beanum Thursday night.

OL Mitchell Bell of Navarro College said he talked to asst. Coach Bobby Allen on Wednesday and will be making his official visit to Arkansas in Jan. He has officially visited Kansas.

2015 WR K.J. Hill of Bryant scored 26 points in last night's loss to Jacksonville. He's rated the No. 48 basketball prospect in the nation by future150.com.

4:17 update

Austin Allen said the one hour meeting with Bielema went very well and believes he's an overall great guy. He said Bielema wanted to learn about them on a personal level and made he, Ellis and Brignoni feel real comfortable.

He said Bielema likes to be balanced on offense and if he could get 225 on the ground and 225 through the air that would be idea. Allen said Bielema believes the pass sets up the run.

Allen said he's very excited to play for him and is a solid Hog.

Ellis said they talked to Bielema about everything and was down-to-earth and easy to talk to and really cares for his people. He said he's a soild Razorback.

The three will make their official visits during the Jan.18-20 weekend.

2014 DL Josh Frazier of Springdale Har-Ber hoped to visit Arkansas today but wasn't able to do so but plans to visit next week. He has offers from Arkansas, Alabama and Arkansas State.

Hog commitment-ath. Drew Morgan of Greenwood said asst. coach Bobby Allen will visit his school Monday morning. Allen told him Coach Bielema is very impressed with his film.
