Hamilton named all-American

Cobi Hamilton has set single-season school records for receptions and receiving yards in 2012.

— Arkansas receiver Cobi Hamilton was named third-team all-American on Tuesday by the Associated Press.

Hamilton is the third Razorbacks player named to the AP all-American team in as many years. Joe Adams was a first-team selection as a return man last year, while tight end D.J. Williams was named to the third team in 2010.

As a senior, Hamilton set school records with 90 receptions and 1,335 receiving yards this season, and broke the school record for career receptions. He caught five touchdown passes for the Razorbacks.

The Texarkana, Texas native was a unanimous pick for the AP all-SEC team and was a semifinalist for the Biletnikoff Award. He will play in the Senior Bowl next month alongside his college quarterback, Tyler Wilson.
