Hog commitments earn Player of the Year honors

Arkansas commitments, Fayetteville LB Brooks Ellis was named Defensive Player of the Year awhile Greewood ath. Drew Morgan was named the Offensive Player of the Year for Class 6A-7A at the Farm Bureau-Hootens ceremony Monday night.

Ellis, 6-2, 218, 4.7 recorded 114 tackles, 12 tackles for loss, 4 forced fumbles, 1 forced fumble, 4 sacks, 2 pass breakups and a QB hurry.

Morgan, 6-0,180, 4.5 had 82 rushes for 764 yards, 19 TDs whhile having 83 receptions for 1,122 yards and 14 TDs. Defensively, he recorded 73 tackles, 18 tackles for loss, 2.5 sacks, 1 QB hurry, 3 forced fumbles, 1 recovered fumble, 3 interceptions and 2 pass breakups.
