Morgan gives Bielema the scoop on himself

Drew Morgan (15) rushed 9 times for 83 yards and 1 touchdown, caught 4 passes for 87 yards and 1 touchdown, returned 3 kickoffs for 55 yards, made 9 tackles and had 1 interception.

Wisconsin's 70-31 victory over Nebraska in the Big Ten conference championship is still fresh on the mind of Arkansas commitment and athlete Drew Morgan of Greenwood, who received a call from Arkansas Coach Bret Bielema on Sunday.

"I said' I saw you beat the tar out of Nebraska'," Morgan said. "He was like 'You know, I was expecting that' and I was like 'You expect big things, you get big results'. "

Morgan was one of more versatile players in the state this season and rarely was off the field. He had 82 rushes for 765 yards, 19 touchdowns and 83 receptions for 1,122 yards and 14 touchdowns along with 72 tackles.

"He definitely likes me and likes my film and told me I could be used on either side of the ball," Morgan said. "He likes me on special teams and wide receiver and possibly a walk down outside linebacker or even a safety and I was like' Wow'. He said even at corner."

He said Bielema congratulated him on helping the Bulldogs win three state championships while also being named MVP in the last two state title games.

Bielema asked Morgan about his family and he was more than happy to tell him

"I told him everything," said Morgan, who will officially visit Arkansas on Jan. 18 or 25. "So he knows the inside scoop on Drew Morgan. He's pretty excited to meet them."
