QB Trevor Rea, 6-6, 220, 4.81 of New Berlin, (N.Y.) Milford Academy will likely choose between Arkansas or Illinois State in the next week or so. He visited Fayetteville earlier in the week and drove around the Arkansas campus on his own and was very impressed with Razorback stadium and the construction of the new football complex.
He said he'll likely visit Illinois State in the next week or so.
Because of the dead period, he wasn't able to meet with any of the Arkansas coaches but has talked to offensive coordinator and quarterback coach Jim Chaney and would join the program as a preferred walk-on..
He is receiving interest from Miami but would have to wait until the spring to enroll there. He can enroll in January at Arkansas or Illinois State, who has offered him.
Rea , who played at Plano, Ill. before heading to Milford, said he's leaning towards Arkansas.
