Young earns SEC Player of the Week honor

— BJ Young came close to becoming the Razorback's third player to ever record a triple-double on Saturday and the Southeasten Conference recognized that performance on Monday.

Young scored 26 points, recorded a career-high 13 rebounds and added seven assists as the Razorbacks defeated Northwestern State 79-61.

The double-double was the second of the sophomore's career and he also had a career-high four steals against the Demons.

Young is second in the conference in scoring, averaging a team-high 17.5 points per game. The St. Louis native is just the 12th Razorback to be named SEC Player of the Week.

Arkansas hosts Delaware State Saturday at 7 p.m. before beginning conference play on the road against Texas A&M.
