Hogs spiral downward from standstill start
Friday, February 10, 2012
If someone had guessed the Arkansas Razorbacks would have only eight turnovers Wednesday night against Georgia and five steals, one might have guessed the Hogs picked up their first road victory of the season.

These kids, need a new attitude! HAVE FUN! Take all the pressure off theirselves, play what you practice, and listen to coach, but enjoy the game and have fun with each other while competeing. The fans know you need more bodies in a long season. So finish up playing the game you love having fun and it may work out better too in the win loss column.

If we can win tomorrow we can eliminate the talk of getting worse. Then we can just work on getting over our road problems and get a win. All a process of growing up. But we must put the pedal down on defense and leave it down. No more freshmen excuses with 20 plus games in the books.
A great goal is to go undefeated for the year at home. What a good stepping stone to something special.
Go Hogs.

I'm proud of this team...with bad wins and good losses!!!! That means winning games while playing sloppy and losing games while playing hard. They are young (inexperienced), and these experiences will make them sucessful in the future. Go Hogs Go!

If the inherent inconsistencies of youth aren't still a problem, then depth certainly is, and will be, for the remainder of the season.
Nonetheless, I would agree, in part, with both rmmr and jordan. The guys need to go out and have some fun, maintain the winning edge in Bud Walton and let the voodoo on the road take care of it.
As I recall, Bobby Petrino was 5-7 the first year and the Razorbacks lost a horrible game at Kentucky. Following Sutton, Nolan was something like 12-19 in year one and folks were calling for his head.
Mike Anderson's kids are 16-8, have played hard and mostly overachieved, under trying circumstances, this season. With some added depth and a little more experience, things will only get better - and sooner, than later.

Mojo refers to a magical charm bag used in voodoo, which has transmuted into a slang word for self-confidence and self-esteem...Go Hogs!!

Maybe the same concept Petrino used of no longer talking about starting slow could work for the Bball hogs with no more talking about winning on the road.

I'm thinking we NEED to talk about just reacting and not thinking and just play ball and kick some butt on the road and at home. Talent and skill and hustle and defense and rebounding and free throws and blah blah blah. Just play hard and kick arse. C'mon guys.
Go Hogs.
