Wally, although I tend to agree on the significance of the NIT, I think you are over-doing your commentary. A lot of good people do a lot of hard work to put on that tournament, regardless of what it does or does not accomplish. This, of course, is just my humble opinion.

There was a time when the NIT was "the" post season tournament. Then the NCAA got into the game and tried to put the NIT out of business. I think we will get an NIT bid because attendance is paramount with the NIT and we will have a good crowd. As far as how we finish in the SEC, I will not believe this team can win a road game until it happens. I hope Auburn is the game.
