Can't wait until Calipari gets them put on probation...and you can take it to the bank. He will.

They may end up on probation, but they are really good, and very well coached.

As I recall, Joe, JWright, Childs and Tyler had a few issues under Bobby Petrino during their first year. Yet, they played hard, progressed and never gave up.
With some added depth and experience, this talented group of freshman will get it done under Mike Anderson. In addition, they play hard, have progressed and don't give up.
Growing pains are just that - painful. As with Petrino, Anderson clearly has the team headed in the right direction, however.
Go Hogs!

How bout we just recruit some talented players that can take it to them as well. I remember a game against UNLV in Fayetteville many years ago and one of the UNLV players told Nolan to get some men not boys and then come and play. I'm not saying Arkansas doesn;'t have talent, because they do. I just think experience is going to be the best weapon that Arkansas will have. They have got to execute , be persistent and continue to play there game.

Hoggsr01...that player was Larry Johnson...that same year, I saw Duke (pretty much the same team UNLV destroyed the year before in the NC game by 30...LJ called Duke an over-hyped/soft team prior the Runnin Rebs winning the title) beat them the following year in the Final Four here in Indy...UNLV had went 34-0 prior to the game against Duke (including a beat down of May-Day and Big O at Barnhill)...what happen was a Duke team a year older showed what not being intimidated by an opponent can do if you believe in your coach...that’s what Mike Anderson said at halftime last night to his team…because they played scared...but these Hawgs really do need some big men...how can a school with a rich tradition not have any height? Kentucky is a very good team. I think that this is the year $$$ CAL wins it all...the Hawgs made Davis (a good player) look great...may have solidified him as the No. 1 pick next year...hats off to CMA...because, after looking at this team last night and how badly they played, one wonders how did they win any games up to this point...they looked very bad on a big national stage...but as the announcer said, look at that Mizz team and look at how they are playing...he continued, that team was built by Mike Anderson...so there's hope for the future...but putting LJ's words into a different light, the Hawgs don't need men, they need some really tall men...

As long as Anthony Davis plays anything near what he did last night our kids do not have a chance. Neither does anybody else, until he leaves, which will probably
be this year as the number one player in this year's NBA draft. Good riddance, we will be really good next year but better without having to play a monster like him.
I cannot believe they lost a game already.
Probably back before he got his sea legs.

Any way you look at this game, it was a brutal beat down. Maturity and 2 more years of Marshawn Powell should help us compete much better in the future.

Anderson better get some "above the rim" bigs quick, or we're going to see more of this the next couple of years against high end comp.

Calipari is the most overrated "coach" in the country and would be equally overrated as a recruiter if he had to do it legally. Trust me, half the stuff that went on here in Memphis never made it to the papers because the locals protected him. These aren't baseless allegations. Just look at his history. UK is not well coached. They are loaded with talent and, you can count on it, Cal will not get our of the elite 8 this year.
