Jones’ cover appearance feted, not fretted, in 1965
Wingback Harry Jones was the first Arkansas football player to make the cover of Sports Illustrated, a copy of which hangs in a frame behind him. “I was totally in awe of that,” said Jones, who played five seasons in the NFL after three seasons with Arkansas.

Harry Jones was ELECTRIC when he touched the ball. After those two interception returns for touchdowns, it was obvious - even to a teenager at the time - that Harry belonged on offense. Great story for one of my favorite Razorbacks of all time. Glad to see this honor for Harry.
