Hamilton a semifinalist for Biletnikoff Award

Cobi Hamilton broke several school receiving records this season, including career receptions (175), single-season receptions (90) and single season yardage (1,335).

— Arkansas' Cobi Hamilton was announced Monday as one of 10 semifinalists for the Biletnikoff Award, which is given to college football's best receiver.

The senior has caught 73 passes for 1,149 yards - both school single-season records - and 4 touchdowns this year. He has caught a pass in 32 consecutive games for the Razorbacks.

Earlier this season, Hamilton set school and SEC records with 303 receiving yards in a game against Rutgers and was named the league's offensive player of the week.

Finalists for the award, named for Pro Football Hall of Fame member Fred Biletnikoff, will be announced next Monday. The winner of the award will be announced on Dec. 6.
