Big-time talent coming for Battle of the Border

Little Rock Parkview’s I.J. Ready (above), playing for the Arkansas Hawks in the Real Deal in the Rock, gave Nebraska an oral commitment during his sophomore season.

This year's Battle of the Border basketball tournament at Little Rock Hall on Dec. 1 will feature some of the top high school talent in the country.

Five top teams from Central Arkansas will do battle against five of the better programs from the Memphis area for bragging rights.

Below is the lineup for the Dec. 1 tournament.

1 pm - Little Rock McClellan vs. Memphis Lausanne

3 pm - Jacksonville vs. Olive Branch, Miss.

4:30 - North Little Rock vs. Memphis East
