Peak named SEC Player of the Week

— Arkansas junior forward Keira Peak was named the Southeastern Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week on Monday.

Peak averaged 20.5 points and 5.5 rebounds per game in four contests last week, helping the Razorbacks to three wins. The Clyattville, Ga. native was also named MVP of the Waikiki Beach Marriott Rainbow Wahine Showdown.

In a 73-70 loss to No. 13 Oklahoma on Friday in Honolulu, Peak scored a career-high 30 points. She added her second double-double of the season with 24 points and 10 rebounds in a win over Oregon on Sunday.

Peak is averaging a team-high 17.7 points this season for the Razorbacks and is second on the team in rebounds (7.0 per game) and steals (11). Arkansas is 5-1 this season and will host Texas Southern on Thursday at Bud Walton Arena.
