Safety Adams talks Arkansas

Highly regarded safety Jamal Adams is looking to visit the Hogs this summer.

— Arkansas hopes Jamal Adams, who's one of the top safety prospects in the nation, plays his college football in Fayetteville.

Adams, 6-0, 190, 4.4 seconds in the 40 yard dash, of Carrollton, Texas Hebron High School has more than 20 scholarship offers from schools like Arkansas, Texas, Texas A&M, Florida, Ole Miss and Oklahoma. He said planned to visit the Hogs during the summer in a March interview in the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette.

He and Razorback defensive end Deatrich Wise Jr. were teammates in 2010 and 2011 at Hebron.

Adams participated in the Dallas Training Camp on Sunday and was picked to attend The Opening at Nike Headquarters in Oregon June 30-July 3.
