Friday recruiting tidbits

Springdale Har-Ber defensive lineman Josh Frazier said on Twitter that he'll release his top five on May 23.

All Purpose Back Tyreek Hill, 5-9, 185, 4.28 of Garden City Community College said he and offensive lineman Dontavius Blair, 6-8, 290 will arrive in Fayetteville on Friday and stay over for Saturday's scrimmage.

Hill said he ran a 10.19 laser time in the 100 meters and a 20.1 in the 200 meters while at Douglas, (Ga.) Coffee County High School.

He reports having about 10-12 offers, including Arkansas, Georgia, Southern Cal, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Arizona State and Baylor. He also plans to run track on the next level.

Hill said Blair has about 15 offers, including one from the Hogs. He played his high school football at Anniston , Alabama. Video highlights click here

Monday is the first day of the spring evaluation period for college football coaches. The period will go until May 31.

Arkansas is expected to stop by Springdale Har-Ber on Monday to check on defensive lineman Josh Frazier.

Arkansas offensive coordinator Jim Chaney and tight ends coach Barry Lunney Jr. is expected to visit Fort Smith Southside on Monday.

Arkansas linebacker coach Randy Shannon and running backs coach Joel Thomas are expected to visit North Little Rock HS on Monday.

Lunney is expected to visit West Memphis HS to check on linebacker-fullback Jarvis Cooper.

Arkansas is also expected to visit Jonesboro HS to check on several prospects, including defensive lineman Chuks Ota.

Arkansas defensive line coach Charlie Partridge is expected to visit El Dorado HS to check on Bijhon Jackson, Hog defensive lineman commitment sometime next week.

Arkansas is also expected to visit Warren HS to check on offensive lineman Jhamahl Bell, receiver VonEric Gonder and linebacker Kendrick Newton.

Chaney will visit Rogers Heritage HS on Monday to check on quarterback Josh Qualls.
