Sunday recruiting tidbits

One of the nation's elite prospects, athlete Davion Hall is expected to officially visit Arkansas this weekend.

Athlete Davion Hall, a major recruiting target of Arkansas, will visit the Hogs for Saturday's spring game.

Hall, 6-3, 194 pounds, 4.5 seconds in the 40 yard dash, of Texarkana, Texas, Liberty-Eylau said he'll be back on the Arkansas campus for the game. He visited Fayetteville in March.

His cousin, Jarrion Lawson, who attended Liberty-Eylau last year and is a member of the Arkansas' track team. The Baylor commitment has has approximately 10 offers from schools like Arkansas, LSU, Missouri, SMU, Baylor, Texas A&M, Texas Tech and Oklahoma.

Arkansas quarterback commitment Rafe Peavey of Bolivar, Mo. visited Arkansas today and was able to meet Coach Bret Bielema for the first time. He and his father, Jack were very impressed and the meeting was very positive. All indications are the Hogs will sign two quarterbacks in the 2014 class. They also met with offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach Jim Chaney.

Linebacker Kenny Young, 6-2, 220, 4.6 of River Ridge, (La.) Curtis said he's looking to visit Arkansas with some of his teammates, including receiver Malichi Dupre. Young said he has around 20 offers, including Arkansas.

All Purpose Back Tyreek Hill, 5-9, 185, 4.28 of Garden City Community College and offensive lineman Dontavius Blair, 6-8, 290 did not visit Arkansas on Friday or Saturday but are now possibilities to visit in May.

Kicker Aaron Medley of Lewisburg, Tenn. visited the Hogs on Saturday and said he was impressed by the coaches and how they run their special teams. He also liked the job opportunities after college. He's rated the No. 8 kicker in the nation by Chris Sailer Kicking.

2015 OL Keaton Sutherland, 6-5, 255 of Flower Mound, Texas, Marcus visited Arkansas on Friday and stayed around on Saturday to spend time with his two brothers, who attend Arkansas. He recorded 5.13 40 time, 28.4 vertical, 4.66 shuttle and a 44 foot Power Ball at the Nike Football SPARQ Combine last Saturday.
