"He was telling me the coaches aren't going to lie to you," said Lambert, who plans to graduate in December and enroll in his new school in January. "What they say is basically true. I'm taking his word for it."

Lambert, who hopes to visit Arkansas Florida, Tennessee, Georgia, West Virginia and possibly Miami this summer, became good friends with Coleman last year and admires his former teammate on and off the field.

"He's a great football player," he said. "He's a leader. I like the way he plays tough and he's fun to be around."

Lambert's speed is his greatest asset and was times at 4.81 seconds in the 40 yard dash at the school.

"When I was a senior in high school I ran a 4.54," Lambert said. "When I got to GMC I had pulled my hamstring over the summer and I just wanted to run the 40 yard dash. I had a hurt hamstring but I ran 4.8."

He said his hamstring is feeling good and believes he can get back into the 4.5 range during the next testing session. Education and immediate playing top his list of wants in a school.

"That would be a plus for me get a great education and come in and start." Lambert said.
