— Arkansas' first scrimmage of the 2013 preseason will be open after all.

Razorbacks coach Bret Bielema reversed course on a closed practice policy, opening up the Saturday scrimmage to the public. It will begin at 3:50 p.m. and the gates to the stadium will open at 3:30 p.m.

The scrimmage was originally scheduled for 3 p.m. to correlate with the Razorbacks' season-opener against Louisiana-Lafayette on Aug. 31.

On Twitter, Bielema credited his team's growth and development for the change of mind. The Razorbacks have held four practices this week and are scheduled to wear full pads for the first time at their practice today.
