Monday recruiting tidbits

Linebacker Jimmie Swain

TCU linebacker commitment Jimmie Swain posted a photo on Twitter showing numerous hand written letters from Arkansas today. ‏@jimmieswain 4h Guess you could say the university of arkansas football program has some interest in me.

Swain, 6-3, 230, 4.51, of Lee’s Summit, Mo., said he's very committed to TCU and doesn't see himself visiting another school but if he did he would see what the Horn Frog coaches thought of him of visiting other schools.

Offensive lineman Brian Wallace of Christian Brothers College High received an invitation to play in the Semper Fi All American game today. The U.S. Army All American game recently extended an invitation and has chosen to play in that game.

He and his father visited Arkansas on Friday and Saturday. Read what father and son had to say about their trip to Fayetteville in Tuesday's Arkansas Democrat-Gazette.

It's been noted that Arkansas defensive line commitment Armon Watts of Christian Brothers College High and Hog cornerback prospect Raymond Wingo of St. Louis University High School are friends. Their friendship started when they first met in middle school.

Junior athlete Avery Johnson of Highland is on The Opening Watch list for wide receivers for next summer's event.
