Behind Peak, Arkansas leaves Italy unbeaten
Keira Peak averaged 18 points per game during Arkansas' exhibition trip.
FAYETTEVILLE Keira Peak scored 19 points to lead Arkansas to an 88-64 win over German professional team Chemcats Chemnitz on Friday in Costa Masnaga, Italy.
Peak, who also had seven rebounds, led the Razorbacks in scoring for the third consecutive game as the team finished its exhibition trip 3-0. The senior forward averaged 18 points and 8.3 rebounds per game during the trip.
Jhasmin Bowen and Jessica Jackson each scored 15 points Friday. Joey Bailey had 12 points.
Arkansas never trailed and led 51-28 at halftime. Chemcats used a 10-0 second half run to pull within single-digits before the Razorbacks pulled away.
The team is scheduled to return to Fayetteville on Saturday. Preseason practice will begin in October.
