FAYETTEVILLE — Conway junior shortstop Jacob Adams verbally committed to play at Arkansas on Sunday.
As a sophomore, Adams helped the Wampus Cats to a 16-6 overall record and berth in the Class 7A state semifinals. He batted better than .400 as a sophomore, including a three-run home run in Conway's state quarterfinals win over Fort Smith Southside.
Adams is the Razorbacks' third known commitment in the class of 2015, alongside Rogers Heritage pitcher Ty Harris and Bentonville pitcher Cody Scroggins. Verbal commitments are non-binding.
