Throughout three weeks of the NFL preseason, several former Razorbacks have been making an impact.

Among them are Knile Davis, the Kansas City Chiefs' third-round draft pick. Davis returned a touchdown 109 yards in a 26-20 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers. He also had a 79-yard kick return in the first preseason game.

Davis has carried the ball 20 times for 56 yards and caught seven passes for 49 yards in three weeks of preseason play.

Another former Arkansas running back, Ronnie Wingo, has appeared in two games for the Atlanta Falcons and has carried the ball eight times for 41 yards. He led the Falcons in rushing in the first preseason game, carrying the ball four times for 29 yards.

Wide receiver Cobi Hamilton has recorded six catches for 60 yards in three preseason games with the Bengals. He has also gotten the opportunity to run the ball a couple of times, combining for 35 rushing yards on two carries.

In three preseason games working as Tom Brady's backup, Ryan Mallett has completed 32 of 60 passes for 330 yards and two touchdowns.

After carrying the ball eight times for 31 yards in his debut with the Philadelphia Eagles, Felix Jones was traded to the Pittsburgh Steelers. In the loss to the Chiefs, Jones led the Steelers with 29 rushing yards on eight carries.

Buffalo Bills' seventh-round pick Chris Gragg has made five receptions for 38 yards in three games. Fellow former Arkansas tight end D.J. Williams has made six receptions for 46 yards for the Green Bay Packers. Williams recorded a team-high three receptions Friday against the Seahawks.

Another former Arkansas tight end, Philadelphia Eagles offensive tackle Jason Peters, is healthy after missing all of last season. ESPN's Dan Graziano said Peters "is back now, and he looks as healthy and devastating as ever."

Jeff Legwold, also of ESPN, reported Ross Rasner was playing safety with the Denver Broncos' second team on Monday. Legwold also said "Rasner has caught the team’s eye and certainly is, a quality practice squad candidate if he can’t wedge his way into what will be the most difficult position group for the Broncos to make the cuts."

Jarius Wright has recorded three catches for 26 yards for Minnesota but did not make a reception in the Vikings' most recent preseason game, a 34-14 loss to San Francisco.

Dennis Johnson has gotten most of the second-team work in Houston with Arian Foster out (and Ben Tate replacing him). In three preseason games, he has tallied 50 yards on 16 carries.

While several players are enjoying some success on the gridiron, neither Tyler Wilson nor Darren McFadden even stepped on the field for the Oakland Raiders in their 34-26 loss to the Bears on Friday. It marked the second game in a row that Wilson did not play while Matt McGloin takes third-team reps for Oakland.

McFadden recorded just eight carries for 22 yards in the first two preseason games.

Wide receiver Joe Adams (Carolina Panthers), Linebacker Alonzo Highsmith (Miami Dolphins) and defensive end Jamaal Anderson (Chicago Bears) have been cut.
