Tuesday recruiting tidbits

Tight end-defensive end Hale Hentges spoke highly of Arkansas following his visit at the Razorbacks' game against Southern Miss.

Junior tight end Hale Hentges, 6-4, 225, 4.83 seconds in the 40 yard dash, of Jefferson City, (Mo.) Helias and his father will visit the Arkansas for the Southern Miss game on Sept. 14. They visited the Hogs in March and in the spring of 2012.

He has scholarship offers from Arkansas, Wisconsin, Purdue Iowa, Iowa State, Nebraska, Indiana and Tennessee. Video highlights click here

Arkansas offensive line commitment Jovan Pruitt, 6-6, 295 pounds, 5.2 seconds in the 40-yard dash, of Dallas Bishop Dunne said on Twitter that he'll make his official visit to Arkansas for the South Carolina game on Oct. 12.

He also tweeted that he might be attending the Hogs' game against La-LaFayette. He said he mother will accompany if he makes the trip. His mother has not visited Arkansas.

Shooting guard TeMarcus Blanton, 6-5, 197 pounds, of Locust Grove (Ga.) Luella said he will visit South Carolina this weekend. He still plans to visit Arkansas but hasn't set up a date at this time.

Defensive lineman Edgar Cerenord, 6-1 1/2, 290, 5.2 seconds in the 40 yard dash, of Plantation, (Fla.) American Heritage said Arkansas, Tennessee, Duke, Wake Forest, South Florida, Tulane, Cincinnati are among his offers. He plans to make an official visit to Arkansas.

Combination guard Jalen Hudson, 6-5, 190 pounds, of Akron (Ohio) St. Vincent-St. Mary is still on for his official visit for the weekend.
