UA women unveil 2013-14 schedule
Tom Collen instructs his team from the sidelines of an exhibition win in Fayetteville.
FAYETTEVILLE Arkansas posted the 2013-14 schedule for women's basketball on its website Tuesday.
The Razorbacks will play 18 home games this season. Arkansas begins coach Tom Collen's seventh season with a game against Sam Houston State on Nov. 8.
In Southeastern Conference play, Arkansas will host South Carolina, Mississippi State, Ole Miss, Auburn, Florida, Alabama, Vanderbilt and Missouri. The Razorbacks have a tough road schedule, including trips to perennial SEC contenders Georgia, Kentucky, Tennessee, LSU and Texas A&M.
In nonconference play, the Razorbacks will travel to Albuquerque, N.M. for an event including New Mexico, Southeast Missouri and Binghamton on Thanksgiving weekend. Arkansas will travel to Kansas on Dec. 4.
The Razorbacks finished last season with a 20-13 record, losing to Tulane in the second round of the WNIT. Arkansas went undefeated in three exhibition games earlier this month in Italy.
