Razorbacks' 2014 opener selected for new pregame show
Arkansas will open the 2014 season at Auburn.
FAYETTEVILLE A two-hour pregame show will premiere on-site from Arkansas' season-opener next season at Auburn.
"SEC Nation" will be aired on the SEC Network, which is set to launch next August. ESPN studio host and play-by-play man Joe Tessitore will serve as host of the program.
According to the SEC, five games involving conference teams will air on the new network during the 2014 opening weekend, including two games Thursday, Aug. 28. It isn't yet known whether the Razorbacks' Aug. 30 game against Auburn will be shown on the SEC Network.
The Tigers, coached by former Arkansas player and assistant coach Gus Malzahn, will play in the SEC Championship Game on Saturday.
