Arkansas center Travis Swanson during an Aug. 31, 2013 game against Louisiana-Lafayette at Razorback Stadium in Fayetteville.

— Swanson, voted first-team All-SEC by The Associated Press earlier this week, is one of six finalists for the Rimington Trophy, which is awarded to the nation’s top center. That award will be presented tonight as part of the ESPNURed Carpet Show that precedes the ESPN Home Depot College Football Awards Show.

On Wednesday, Swanson was named first-team all-American by USA Today. The SEC coaches voted him second team all-SEC behind Auburn's Reese Dismukes, also a finalist for the Rimington.

Swanson, of Kingwood, Texas, also has accepted an invitation to participate in next month’s Senior Bowl in Mobile, Ala. Arkansas defensive end Chris Smith also will play in the Senior Bowl.
