Thursday recruiting tidbits

Defensive end Solomon Thomas, a consensus four-star recruit, is one of Arkansas' top prospects for the class of 2014.

Offensive lineman Sebastian Tretola, 6-4 1/2, 315, 4.9 seconds in the 40 yard dash, of Iowa Western Community College in Council Bluffs credited Coach Bret Bielema and offensive line coach Sam Pittman for staying with the Hogs and agreeing to visiting Fayetteville over a late offer from Florida.

He'll arrive today for the start of his visit. He plans to announce his decision on Wednesday. He has officially visited Texas Tech, Oklahoma, South Florida and TCU. Video highlights CLICK HERE

Arkansas defensive line coach Charlie Partridge visited Coppell High School in Texas on Wednesday to see highly recruited defensive end Solomon Thomas, who plans to visit the Hogs in January. Video highlights CLICK HERE

Oklahoma State will do an in-home visit with Rogers linebacker Zack Wary on Thursday night. He'll make an official visit to Arkansas this weekend.

Defensive coordinator Chris Ash visited Dallas Bishop Dunne HIgh School on Wednesday to check on safety Payton Hendrix and offensive lineman Jovan Pruitt.

Hog receivers coach Michael Smith is expected to make an in-home visit with receiver commitment Torrance Mosley on Thursday.

Butler Community College linebacker Tyler Hayes said his visit with Ash on Tuesday went well. He said Ash liked his video and believes he will talk to Bielema and get back with him on a possible offer. Hayes transferred to junior college from Alabama. Video highlights CLICK HERE

Alabama-Birmingham is showing interest in Dollarway safety-receiver Kabion Ento.

Junior safety Larry Pryor of Sulphur Springs, Texas said tight ends coach Barry Lunney Jr. told him he would be visiting his school soon. He has nine offers, including Arkansas, Texas and TCU. He's considered to be one of the top 2015 prospects in Texas. Video highlights CLICK HERE

Safety Christian Campbell of Phenix City, Ala. reports 11 offers from schools like Colorado State, Arkansas State, UAB, Memphis, Western Kentucky and Southern Miss. He said cornerbacks coach Taver Johnson impressed him and his mother during a recent in-home visit.

He said Johnson didn't extend an offer but said the Hogs want to bring him in for an official visit in Jan.
