Cornelius flips back to Hogs
Shreveport Evangel Coach Byron Dawson calls Jared Cornelius one of the best receivers the school has produced.
Receiver Jared Cornelius, 6-1, 190, 4.48 seconds in the 40 yard dash, of Shreveport (La.) Evangel has flipped back to Arkansas after committing to TCU on Friday. He has signed an Arkansas financial aid agreement and will enroll in January.
Cornelius said he called Coach Bret Bielema about 11:30 Tuesday night and they discussed the offense and his role. He said his decision is final.
He said quarterback commitment Rafe Peavey also played a role in his decision to flip back to the Hogs.
Shreveport Evangel defensive back Santos Ramirez was in his ear after making his official visit over the weekend and wanted him to join him in Fayetteville.
