Wednesday recruiting tidbits

Cody Hollister

Arizona Western Community College receiver Cody Hollister said he'll sign his national letter of intent with Arkansas on Wednesday, but didn't have a particular time.

Hollister, 6-4, 205, 4.5 seconds in the 40 yard dash, recorded 69 receptions for 934 yards and 5 touchdowns this season and was named first team All Arizona Community College Athletic Conference. A mid-term graduate, he has three years to play three. Wednesday is the first day junior college enrolling at midyear can sign a national letter of intent.

Ole Miss defensive line commitment Breeland Specks of Jackson, (Ms.) Callaway said he spoke with Arkansas on Tuesday about his January visit. No particular date has been set.

Iowa Western Community College offensive lineman Sebastian Tretola, 6-41/2, 315, 4.9 is expected to announce his decision today. He'll choose from Arkansas, Oklahoma or TCU.

Arkansas 2015 defensive end commitment Hjalte Froholdt, 6-5, 275 pounds of Denmark said former defensive line coach Charlie Partridge was big reason why he thought the Hogs were a good fit for him but his leaving has no impact on his pledge.

He has framed his written offer from Arkansas. The Razorbacks were the only school to send him a written offer.

Offensive lineman Sebastian Tretola of Iowa Western Community College will announce within the hour between Arkansas, Oklahoma and TCU, according to the Iowa Western football Twitter account.
